Upgrading to Lucid Lynx (II)
As I started to tell you earlier, my upgrade to Lucid Lynx was surprisingly uneventful. I went the “update-manager -d” way and there were very few errors. Sadly, one cannot install yet 3D video card drivers, but that’s alright, I have not time for games or crazy desktops yet.

Upgrading Ubuntu to Lucid Lynx I
I have 2 computers I’ll be upgrading simultaneously:
a desktop with 2.5 GB RAM running Ubuntu 9.10 and a Toshiba Tablet m200 running 8.04 LTS
I started the upgrade on both by pressing Alt + F2 and typing “update-manager -d” (without quotes). I confirmed that that’s what I wanted, then the fun started:
