Octogenarian Bernie Yeger is finally getting a regular check — about $450 a month — for the labor the Nazis forced him to do almost 70 years ago. It’s taken decades for Yeger to get the pension that the German government is paying him for the free work he performed in a Romanian ghetto, before he was shipped off to do slave labor at Auschwitz, Buna and Buchenwald concentration camps.
