To the person with vaginal soreness - I try to limit how much my pussy is in use as much as possible for this reason. Often I work 5 nights a week in a brothel and see around 5 clients a night, so at first my body would just hit this wall and I would have to go home early. I tried encouraging clients to do other things like oral, cum on body, prostate massage, tit fucking, jacking off together, etc… and now I only have my pussy in use sometimes once a night or not at all! Of course you can’t totally avoid it if you’re offering full service but limiting it definitely helps! I act like I’m rrreally into the other things and don’t even mention sex and I doubt the clients even notice the lack of it. Often they seem really stoked at such a fun session.

Whenever I start feeling an infection coming on, I douche with 1-2 cups of warm water with 1-2 tbsp of hydrogen peroxide. Do it once or twice a day until symptoms are gone, then do it a day or two after just in case. Hydrogen peroxide has the same pH as the vagina, it can also treat bacterial vaginosis. Just make sure not to use TOO much peroxide or it will dry out the skin and be really uncomfortable.

I’ve also used boric acid suppositories overnight, but always douche in the morning with water - some will fall out when you are upright plus its poisonous to ingest if anyone is going to be down there.

For vaginal soreness and irritation I find coconut oil is a perfect lube, no stickiness, great for the skin, and is known to be anti-bacterial and anti-viral. oh but coconut oil could damage condoms. so it could be for after care and soothing.

I’m an escort and my advice on soreness is to listen to your body, taking a couple days off to let yourself rest is really necessary to me sometimes, it’s probably worth it in the long run to not overwork your body, or mind.

The Puritans believed that sexual desire was a normal and natural part of human life for both men and women (as long as it was heterosexual and confined to marriage), but that women wanted and needed sex more than men. A man could choose to give up sex with relatively little trouble, but for a woman to be so deprived would be much more difficult for her. (via When Women Wanted Sex Much More Than Men | Alternet)

“Sex is a part of worship and, indeed, is the same as namaz (Muslim prayers),” Ali Riza Demircan told Haberturk TV. A conservative backlash then forced him to clarify that sex and prayers were not of equal virtue. To the delight of TV channels, the Islam and sex debate is growing noisier. A young Islamic counsellor, columnist and TV host, Sibel Uresin, has jumped in, saying that “the path to proper namaz goes through proper sexual union.” Mrs Uresin (her name means “should reproduce”) also believes that polygamy should be legal because “the Koran says so.” To prove her sincerity she has “offered” a friend to her husband. For Muslims struggling to reconcile their faith with desire there is much online advice. “Is oral sex acceptable?” asks a troubled soul. “To have the tongue touch impurities such as sperm and urine is disgusting,” replies Nureddin Yildiz, a preacher, on fetvameclisi.com, an Islamic website. “Still, all else is free between a married couple,” he adds by way of reassurance.
