Whenever I start feeling an infection coming on, I douche with 1-2 cups of warm water with 1-2 tbsp of hydrogen peroxide. Do it once or twice a day until symptoms are gone, then do it a day or two after just in case. Hydrogen peroxide has the same pH as the vagina, it can also treat bacterial vaginosis. Just make sure not to use TOO much peroxide or it will dry out the skin and be really uncomfortable.
I’ve also used boric acid suppositories overnight, but always douche in the morning with water - some will fall out when you are upright plus its poisonous to ingest if anyone is going to be down there.

For vaginal soreness and irritation I find coconut oil is a perfect lube, no stickiness, great for the skin, and is known to be anti-bacterial and anti-viral. oh but coconut oil could damage condoms. so it could be for after care and soothing.
